It's been 10 years and it's FINALLY time for Spring to get a new car. We have been looking at so many vehicles of the past few months and I think we have it down to the Acura MDX. It was the first car I test drove and I fell in love immediately. It is much smaller than we have now, but surprisingly Scott fits in it better than some of the larger SUV's we looked at. I even stalked a family in a parking lot yesterday to ask them how they liked their MDX. The raved about it and said we would be real happy with it.
Not sure when we will actually get the one I want - I think they are in production for 6 weeks. I am hoping to get it for my birthday in May. :-)
Work has been REAL busy lately. We have the most employees we have ever had. We may even have to add more people in accounting soon. I guess busy is good, but being short staffed and the stresses that go with that are not so good.
Spring hasn't officially hit, but Scott is already in yard planning mode. When he is home, he is either sleeping, eating or working in the yard. Here he is building the raised planting beds (final pics to follow in another post).
We had to harvest the spinach when Scott started working on the raised beds. This is the last of the winter crop.
We fed the birds one afternoon at the duck pond. It was a fun time until Avery sat right in the nastiest duck poop I have ever seen.
We got another fish (I have lost count on which one this is). So far so good.
We've been teaching Avery how to hit the ball. She's actually fairly good at it. She can hit them right over the brick wall.
Strike!

WOW, has it really been ten years? I LOVE the MDX's, they are sweet looking. If only they say 8 :) Hope you get it soon!
By the way, Avery is looking so grown up these days :(
OMG, lucky you, you are getting my dream car!! I keep drooling over these and the similar Lexus model. I don't even know whether they are available in stick-shift, which is a must for me, but I LOVE this car! My old truck has been paid off for a long time now, and I love not having a car payment, but, I'll need a new car one day soon, right? I can dream, can't I? Lucky, lucky Spring!
This was a great post but my favorite part was "Spring hasn't hit yet" or something like that. I didn't know Springie had a violent streak. :)
She's so freaking cute!!!
